Ocean Optics HR2000 High Resolution Modular Spectrometer (470-670 nm) Working

This Spectrometer is an OEM version of the Ocean Optics HR2000 High Resolution Spectrometer (HR2000 PDF documentation will be provided) and can be interfaced using USB or Serial. The USB connector is a USB Mini Male and uses the INCLUDED USB A Male to Mini B 5 Pin Female adapter to connect to a standard USB port. The Spectrometer is fiber coupled through the INCLUDED 12 200 micron fiber (SMA 905 on Spectrometer side, ST Bayonet on other). The entrance slit is 10 micron with no filter (3.2 pixel resolution on the HR2000 per Ocean Optics website).

The Spectrometer has been verified to be working by using Ocean Optics Spectra Suite Software running on Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10. The screen captures shows the HR2000 capturing the spectra of a fluorescent light bulb and LED light bulb. No guarantees are made regarding use/suitability with other operating systems or your specific application. These units are Fully Functional. The Spectrometer is currently calibrated for 470 to 670 nm wavelength range.

The 200 nm bandwidth corresponds to the H9 grating and verified by an internal label in the spectrometer. The grating can be shifted to a new range and re-calibrated using software and procedures available from Ocean Optics. Using multiple units calibrated for different ranges has the advantage of increased resolution and redundancy. Dispersion = 200 nm H9 Grating Spectral Range / 2048 pixel CCD = 0.098 nm / pixel.

Optical Resolution = Dispersion Pixel Resolution from Grating = 0.098 / 3.2 pixels = 0.3 nm. The Spectrometer was removed from working equipment or obsoleted by a newer revision of firmware and never installed.

There is thermal tape and thermistors on the back that can be used optionally to control the temperature of the Spectrometer. CD with manual and related will be provided.

That is, photos showing internal components are NOT from the units for sale. The units for sale have NOT been taken apart and reassembled AND they have been individually tested using the Spectra Suite Software on Windows 10.
